School Advisory Council

Ministry Chair: Jacqueline Sweeney and Brent Pietrafese

Purpose: The SPB School Advisory Council is a volunteer group consisting of nine parent members, the school principal, pastor, and teacher representative.  The Advisory Council is a consultative group (i.e., does not have decision-making authority) that advises the Principal and Pastor on various areas related to the school.  The primary functions of the group are to be a source of ideas, input, and recommendations in areas such as curriculum, school environment, technology, communication, marketing, and policies & procedures.  The Advisory Group is also a liaison to address broader parent questions and concerns.

If you are concerned about something going on in the school or have positive feedback regarding school operations, contact your grade representative.  All questions, concerns, and feedback are discussed with respect for anonymity and confidentiality.
